Hi, does anyone have advise for making longer and a more sturdy set of legs on a 74 Sho Bud Maverick. especially to get the top of the legs mounted into the bottom holes of the Steel to keep it from walking ? Thanks Marty

The Maverick legs slide into holes and are tightened with a thumbscrew. The legs are just 3/4" aluminum conduit, which has an outside diameter of 7/8". Some have made a 7/8" diameter aluminum plug, with a 1/2-13 threaded hole in the center. This plug is placed in the leg holes and secured with one or more set screws, then standard legs could be screwed into the plugs.
