| Saw a guy with the "Flat Top Jones" band Saturday at Gruene Hall playing a 14 string Sierra,,,great player and great tone,,,,definitely knew his way around!!!! Didn't get his name,,,anyone know who it might be??? |

Pretty sure it was Brian Thomas on the gig Sonny. You are right, he is a great multi-instrumentalist from the Houston area.

I was at the SWSGA SHOW IN Mesa, Az. in Jan 2018, and saw a 14 string that Ross built. This is probably that steel. AMAZING, I think Ross of Sierra is a the top of the builders right now. Wish him the best.This is quite a inovative steel.
