I see lots of solid colored guitars. I’d like some recommendations for PSG builders who will make a sunburst - like the old fender 400 look or maybe something like this?

Williams, Show Pro, Jackson. Just about everyone except for Fred Justice (I think he's pretty much just mica and drum wrap). I think Jerry Fessenden does, and I think I've seen it on a Mullen.
Choose a guitar based on the other features, then ask about the finish. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Hi Greg.
We can do a sunburst guitar for you. Here is a pic showing a few bursts and fades in various colors we've done, but we can shade it to your preference. We've also got an ultra smooth, all-bearing pulling system now on our Pro V model. And we still use our classic single pole Shot Jackson design pickup. These guitars have a rich tone and great sustain. We're updating the website and I'll be posting more about them soon. So you can get it all...beautiful color, feel and sound!

Greg , You’ve already have been presented with a couple of very nice options from a couple of great builders with excellent reputations. One more is Show Pro. Here’s pic of my SD10. Another one to consider.

I think just about any company making lacquers can do one for you. Options are almost limitless.
