I have a derby and am having problem with the nylon tuning nuts, tune pedals and play a few licks and the pedal is out of tune again. The nylon nuts must be slipping, my question is what size and /or thread do I need to buy to replace them?

thanks,Ron

Could be the nylon tuners. The roller bridge is the first thing I would check. Most folks over oil the changer and over look the rollers. They must turn freely.......bb

Before purchasing new nylon~tuners, just unscrew the tuner and turn it around! The first time you turn it onto the pull~rod, it will thread itself! You’ll notice the hole goes all the way through the nylon~tuner. No problem with threads!
