I've been away from the ol' computer most of the day. I just want to wish you all the best of holidays and good tidings for the New Year.

Special shout outs to everyone involved with the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association Convention and the Sacred Steel community. You have challenged me to learn more and play better and have made my life richer.

I had to take a time out from playing steel most of last year as an infusion drug I was on dried out and cracked my finger tips and made it painful to play. I no longer need it and my finger tips are getting stronger all the time. I can even play acoustic underarm guitar again! The lap steel and mandolin are back in my possession and I feel like I've been reunited with lost friends. Hopefully I'll finish getting the National D-8 back in playing condition soon.
