I have a Peavey IPR 3000 Power amp. Even when the amp is not on but plugged in, there are blue LED lights on the front panel and when you hit the power button the lights get brighter to indicate the amp is active.
Anyway, amp was plugged in same power strip as the mixer and effects and the Peavey Power amp is dead with no lights.. I tried another power cord and another AC outlet and there is no power going to the unit. I pressed the circuit breaker switch in the back of the amp and nothing.
Anyone experienced this with this series amp? |

Some friends of mine drove up to Sweetwater and picked up a couple of these and some other gear for their sanctuary a few yrs. back.
One of them went south just a short time after power up...the other one still going far as I know.
I just read a few reviews on these and I find this is not uncommon with these amps.
Class D stuff, so I don't know if they are repairable.
Might ask Mike Brown for info and advice here. |

Thanks Mike, I’ll call Peavey tomorrow. Lots of power in a light weight amplifier. |
