ITYM 94. I don't think (but I could be wrong) that the Nashville didn't come along til late in the 80s.
In 84, the Session 500 was still the new kid on the block.

"In the early 1980’s, we introduced a new line of amplifiers called the City Series. In this series, we offered two steel amps, i.e.; the Vegas 400 and Nashville 400. The Nashville 400 has been our most popular model to date and was in production for eighteen years. Up until 1985 we used a 1502-4 ohm Black Widow speaker in this version. It was later changed to the “revoiced” 1501-4 ohm version."

Huh. That's weird. I was POSITIVE it was later than that. So the Nashville was concurrent with the 500; I'd remembered it as a successor.

The prefix is OA not 4A my mistake. It dates to 1990. Thanks for the input.

Lane, I brought my first new steel amp, Session 500 in the spring of 1982 in Midland, Tx. Great Amp but you had to have a wrecker truck to moved it for you. J.R.
