Yeah, I do like my little Maverick, and even though its not limiting my abilities at this point , I wanted to get a contemporary steel that was a better quality. Readily available parts, and maybe a lil easier to play as I progressed.

Man, I tell ya though, been practicing every day, changing chord grips working the pedals, trying to work on some blocking too.....Got My Winnie Winston book today , and starting to look at that as well. Its a real mind bender though, when you see how well people can play, I been at it one week. But I'm diggin it!!!

So I got this off Reverb, I believe it was sold from this site at one time last year, as I found the old forsale ad here. GFI Expo 'X1'. Anywho, Just sharing. thanks, Mike

Great little guitar...You might want to get some right angle jack leads for the volume pedal...Looks awkward to me.

The thing about having more knee levers - you won't use it for months, maybe even years. Then, suddenly, you need it - and after that, you could not do without it. I've been playing for 6 years. Started on E9, 3x4. Tried Uni - just not a good fit for me. So I switched to D10 - with 8 levers. To be honest, in the first two years with the D10 I never used the E9 vetical (drops strings 5 and 10 a 1/2-stop). Then I started working on Buddy Emmon's tune Will's Point - not only did I need it, but I needed to set it up as a split with the A-pedal! I expect before long to find more uses for it now that I've started!

Looks good, well built, great factory support, a guitar that will last you a lifetime. If I still played pedal, I would have one (although a D-10).

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

My wife has an Expo S-10 and I've even played it out a couple of times. The stock 3/4 are the same as the 3 pedals and 4 out of 5 knee levers on my Franklin.

One thing I did, that helped, is to move the pedal rod mounting studs on the pedals to the opposite side and then slide the pedals over to the right a little. That puts the pedals and left leg more in line with the left knee levers.
