i know on piano if temp is to cold it will draw it out of tune my pedal steel body has birdseye maple if to cold might draw it out of tune all medal and wiring in your pickup if you keep it in to cold of temp and when you bring it in to warmer temps it might make it sweat and damage medal and your wiring.
