Hi Jim sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad...but those Derby Pedal Steel Guitars that Charlie Stepp built were really great guitars...I've had 2, sold the 1st one, but keeping the second one as they play so sweet...I also lost my Dad back in early 1984 and he was my best friend too, so I know how you feel...Your Derby is priced to sell quickly...take care,

Thanks Brian, Its hard to let go of it knowing it was dad's pride and joy, but I have no interest in learning it and hate to see it just lay in a case. I have a guitar of his that I play. I have thought on it for a couple months and think $2200 is a real fair price and will make someone a nice guitar.
