i am in need of two connecting rods from the knee levers to the bell cranks. rod #1 should be 3/32 3 inches long from the bend to the end. the bend needs to be at least 1/2 inch
rod #2 needs to be 10 inches long from the bend to the end. the bend has to be 1/2 inch long. i didn't like where the kneed levers was located so i moved the knee levers and now i need two connecting rods to complete the job. i have a carter guitar but i can make anything work as long as the rod is 3/32. give me a call at 573-424-8308 if you have something i could use. thanks sid |

You can pickup 3-32 welding rod and a 4-40 die and do it yourself quite easily. |

For the rods, you can get a 10' or 12' length of rod from Home Depot, or Lowes. Go to the section where they sell the acoustic ceiling parts. The long wires that you use to tie the main grid up to the existing ceiling, is close enough. You still need a die to cut the threads, and the cheapest place I know of is Harbor Freight. _________________ Sho-Bud LDG, Martin D28, Ome trilogy 5 string banjo, Ibanez 4-string bass, dobro, fiddle, and a tubal cain. Not sure Harbor Freight has a 4-40 die- frequently need a tool shop |
