A buddy of mine suggested I post this - that you could possibly get me dating information and where it's original destination was. So here goes:

D10 Classic, serial number 2G1060, signed by Bud Carter.

I appreciate any info you have.

Thanks -

Jim

Jim....Thank you for providing me the opportunity to be of help to you with your MSA.

Production records show serial number 2C-1060 to be a formica rosewood double 10 which left the factory with 8 pedals and 2 knee levers.

It's original destination was Chicago, where our distributor at the time was located. They in turn sold it to a Music store somewhere (which we have no way of tracking) and the dealer sold it to a customer.

Your guitar had a birthday a few days ago, it was born on June 28th 1973.

Thank you for being part of the MSA family.

Wow! That is amazing recordkeeping. Thanks Reece.

Gee, it's birthday was only a few days ago? Still sounds like an excuse for some cake...
