When the standard legs and rods for my LeGrande arrive (Thanks Daniel!) I'm going to take the push/pull down, make some changes to the setup, and reinstall pedals 9 and 10.

The parts for pedals 9 and 10 were removed before I got the guitar, so I'm trying to come up with a parts list. Somebody check me on this.

  • 2 black late P/P (LeGrande type) pedals and four 8/32 screws.

  • 2 pedal rods, lock nuts and ends.

  • 2 cross bars for D-10.

  • 2 mounting brackets. Rear apron. D-10.

  • 2 mounting brackets. Front apron. D-10.

  • Several bellcranks and swivels.

  • Several short rods and attachment wires.

  • 5 or so collars and shock springs.

Have I missed anything?

Charlie

...pedal x-shaft return springs & eye hooks(2 ea),
1/8" aluminum spacers(for front apron side of x-shaft, 2),
6/32 hex screws for x-shafts(pedal stop screws, 2).
Also, Im wondering what you mean by "cross shaft front apron mounts"? The front apron has the recessed bearing surface that the nub on the x-shaft fits into, then the alum spacer would be next in line, but no mounting brackets etc, needed for the front apron. thats all I caught, have fun!

2 3/8" or 1/2" springs that hold the cross bars in the rear apron mounting brackets, pushing the bar into the front apron mounting hole. Ordinary shock springs will do.
You will most probably have to cut the right side of the barrel of pedal 10 and the left side of pedal 9 to fit them on the pedal bar axle and achieve even pedal rod spacing.

Edit: I just realized that you said LeGrande pedals (I was thinking of the narrow cast pedals). I've no idea how these are mounted. Sorry.

Thanks guys!

Mike, You are correct. My "mounting brackets. Front apron" are the 1/8 aluminum spacers. I just didn't know what to call them.

Rainer, the LeGrande type pedals mount to the bar using two 8 X 32 screws. All the holes are there, both on the pedal bar and in the guitar, so everything ought to just bolt on and work.

Charles,
I assumed the shock springs you alluded to as being of various lengths would suffuce for your back apron pressure x-shaft springs.
I couldve given that stuff the once over for you on Sat nite, but, you know the rest of the story. Hows about same day-Fed-Ex'ing me 7 lbs of the Boiling Points fresh crawdads? I'll pay handsomely

Hey Mike,

If I was there I'd send 'em to you gratis. Unfortunately, I'm stuck up here in Shreveburg painting the house. 100 degrees in the shade. Fun Neutral.

If you catch yourself down this way give me a shout. I can cook crawfish as good as those guys, and you won't set the woods on fire the next day.
