I just found out that the wife bought me a ticket to see Lorrie tomorrow night. Does she carry a steel guitar player? If so, who might that be?

It has always seemed weird, not knowing who is playing in the band you're going to see. And there is no really good way to find out, unless you know somebody on the tour. Touring artists should have a band members section on their website.
Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised, Richard. Hey, maybe you could offer to sit in  |

Well, she didn't have one. But the band was so good that I didn't miss it at all. It's too bad. Our table was about 3 feet from the stage. Lorrie let my wife's daughter sing a little bit of a song with her. It was her birthday and singing with Lorrie was a dream of hers. Lorrie is a very classy lady. But that band was great. Guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and a backup girl singer that should have a career of her own. It was a very pleasant night. Here's and Keith's son, Jesse Keith Whitley was also on the show. He did a few of Keith's songs, and it was tough not to let a tear fall. I recommend going to see her.

She stood on the floor in front of the stage and Lorrie bent down, and they shared the mic. It was pretty cool.

| A few years ago, Lorrie had a steel player named Joshua Motohashi-he played an Emmons, and I think he's a pilot now. |

| He is a smart man, pilots generally make a decent living. Can't say the same for steel pickers. Some good steel players gave it up for other careers, then came back after retirement. It's a damn shame the way sidemen are treated. Many of them died broke. I know that many self destruct too. |

I saw Joshua with Lorrie about 20 years ago, he had that White Emmons. Great player.
