does anyone move the pedal spacing out some, i.e. wider? Charlie has kit?
does Charlie or someone sell a longer 'drop' arm for the verical up B to Bb lever? i need to lower it some so my short legs reach.
i am checking into 2" shorter legs also.
any pointers on the Derby to pass on?
BTW: Charlie installed a nice PU 'Off/On' switch on theh rear right side. the Derby craftamanship is tops. very neat and clean layout, even the wiring and shielding.
Derby mainteenance/setup manual floating around? get a copy?
later my friends,
Billy

Hey Billy, take a breath dude!
Charlie's the man, but AFAIK there are no kits for pedal spacing or vert. KL mods.
When you get your axe lowered 2", the UP might be more comfortable.
I think I have some info here about the Derby rod timing and some info about the split tuning feature. If I can find it and you still need it after you talk to Charlie, just email me and I'll try to dig it up.
Wishing you many happy hours with your new Derby. |

thanks jerry.
after lowering the legs 2" (rear) the vertical B may be OK. i have short legs.
i'll post after talking to Charlie.
the discussion of this steel (maybe) having been in L. Green's hands or at least a gift seems to get corrected often. I understqand Charlie did say it was built for L. Green but no other details were passed to me. well, like i said it is a lacquered green DB E9.
thanks,
Billy
