My Derby's C pedal on both the E and B strings IF depressed slightly hard, goes (too far) sharp as if it is a mis-tuned half stop, but i am sure it is not a half stop.

any ideas on what may need adjusting?

thanks,

Billy

it seems the E string was adjusted too tightly (maladjusted). when i backed it out some, both the E abd B strings worked OK with C pedal depressed and felt correct.

my error.

later,
Billy
