Smile Tony, didn't you have an identical steel when I saw you at Judy's Supper Club in Portland?

Close...but. mine was a wood-neck. Sold it in 79 for $750 to finance my honeymoon. Luckily, I found a similar one in Jim Palenscar's shop about 7 years ago and snagged it. I love those woody push-pulls.

this puppy has THE TONE

it is worth mentioning that those strings on that guitar were not changed in ages ... with a set of new strings this guitar would sing like a bird ... Very Happy if i didn't already have my '66 this beauty wouldn't be going anywhere ... my '66 Emmons was also serviced, and adjusted by Mike, and it was original factory guitar, so Mike added some original period correct long Emmons knee levers, and here is what it sounds like ... Mike is the man, and he did a great job on my '66 ... give him a call if you need any help with your vintage Emmons ....
