So far: tuning/setup = C69/F6/G6/C13 series, integrated keyless tuner and changer on players left = all tuning done with the hand that does not have picks on it, 30” scale, interchangeable fret boards, dual multi tone interchangeable pickups, Hi Z in Lo Z out pickup buffers, on board computer as the control element with software preamp and effects, and now add the wireless connection from the computer to the rack/amp/board/headset/earphones/amps for streaming stereo output.

The BEAST now has all the above! The Bluetooth wireless was tested (without the PSG) at the AZ jam this weekend. Both the 10 meter and 100 meter editions were checked. The approach is flexible … use with or without your existing amps/racks/effects/tuners … with or without the computer as preamp/effects/et al. This is standard available hardware (with the exception of the pickup buffers). The on board computer platform is halfway done. It swings to an in front of the player position to a location at the end of the instrument. It will hold anything from a 17” screen laptop down to a PDA.

The computer/controller allows having performance software/preamps/effects, as well as BIAB/JAMMER/record/edit/sequence/synth/tracks/ et al at the players fingertips, including the CD player.

After I tidy this up a bit, I will start on the individual string pickup … gateway to some interesting pitch shift uses plus.

Still looking for the LCD screen to use for a programmable fret board … but the rest is no longer dreamware.
