I need to find out how to get my P.S.G in tune.F#---G# on LKR
Db-- -D on RKR
G#---A on B
E-- -Eb on RKL, +F on LKL, +F# on C
B----+C# on A @ C -Bb on LKR
G#---+A
F#
E----+F on LKL -Eb on RKL
D
B----C# on A
The forth string E is not wanting to pull to the F# note on pedal C.What is the tuning method i need for the push-pull on forth string E?

What do you see when you turn it over? Is there a rod from the C pedal to the changer? Does it move when you mash that C pedal? |

James sent a email out saying this>
quote: Hello forumites.I need your help on a problem I am currently having with my Sho~Bud D 10 Pro II Custom. After replacing a set new strings on my P.S.G. I was not able to get the 4th E string to go back in tune as before, The rest of the strings were ok except, when I press C pedal, the 5th string E would not pull up the F#.After trying for some time I gave up. so I went for my W.Winston . book and tried everything it said on a push pull tuners. I was not able to get the 4th string still. What is keeping E from pulling to F# on pedal C. The B string that is on this pedal does go to C#.when all the rest are correct. will someone tell me what is the best way to get that darn thing fixed here at home if posable? I will try anything. I hope I didn't mess it up. This P.S.G.lets me pull the E to F# on pedal C, Raise E to F on LKL,Lower E to Db on RKL.I has nylon tuners at the end plate too.I still kinda new to this art of P.S.G.There is so much to it. But I can't Play out of tune for sure. I am want to put a set Jagwire string that I got off this site. And maybe start this process again. I don't think its the guitar, is just ignorant me!!!!!Any help? Any one who may have one of these beauties may be able to explain it to me. I don't know how long I can take not being able to play it. Learning more every day from my two books W.Winston's and Dewitt Scott's. Sending money Friday for Fred's book on pedal steel progressions. I would like to be in good working order when it gets here next week
Thanks all!

So it's not a push pull and I answered his possible problems as this>
quote: Sounds like you put a string on the 4th string E; that possibly didn't react as good as the brand you took off...so now you don't have enough travel for the 4th string; and you might be into the finger with the nylon tuner; when you were trying to get it up to pitch.
first thing> loosen all the nylon tuners on that 4th string a turn or so; and note if the finger actually backs off a little(that means you were into it)....Then tune the 4th string to proper E note. now turn the nylon tuner(for the C pedal) in to where it is pretty much up against the finger; without affecting the open note. Now push the C pedal and it the note doesn't go up to F#; then you need more distance at the stop underneath where the pedal actually stops. So unscrew that stop screw untill you get the F# note and tighen the nut so it don't move. Now you have the C pedal...and go ahead the tune the other changes on that string and your fine. YOu'll have to retune the 5th string for the C pedal; as it will be raising to much now.
So hopefully that will help him as he is first learning this thing.
