I bought some C6 tab by Herby Wallace and didn't pickup the copedent chart. Can Herby or someone post/e-mail his C6 copedent??

| I've been to a couple of Herby's semminars (good semminars by the way) and from what I remember he pretty much uses a "vanilla" setup. He uses the G on the top string. |

Right, Jack. "Standard" 5 C6 floor pedals (pedal 4 or A pedal for C6 raising both A's to B). RKR lowers string 3 to B, LKL raises string 4 to Bb and I think RKL lowers string 5 to F. He uses G on top and one of the pedals probably raises that to G#.
Another interesting thing, he uses the same LKL on E9 for C6! |

Are you sure about that LKL thing? I'm sure that Herby has a separate set of middle left knee levers for C6th. In fact, the last time I saw him play, he even pulled down a separate knee lever for the right knee when playing C6th. Herby also raises the 10 string to D with the same pedal that lowers the 5th to F.
I have a couple of Herby's courses and I asked him if he still used this change and he replied in the affirmative.

| Erv your info may be more current. Back when I bought a HWP Mullen (1987), Herby only used 4 knee levers for the whole guitar and I never knew all the changes that went along with the G to F change. |

Erv is right on the R knees. I saw him pull down 2 right knee levers when he changed to C6.
It looks like a Smart idea to me. He must have sp;ring clips holding up the other ones or maybe dont need them.
I saw him in Grand Rapids and he played inspired to even greater then I ever heard him. He is really something.....al

Herby is my idol when it comes to the C6th neck. In fact, when I had Bill Rudolph build me my Williams, I took the clue from Herby and had him put separate right knee levers on it for the E9th and the C6th neck. He did a super job.

Herby is # Ono....Listen to him play Four Wheel Drive...i rest my case!
I also saw and heard him play at the West Michigan Show in Grand Rapids, i could sware he had seperate knees as well for C6th..

when I saw Herby play a few years ago he definitely had a few extra levers on the C6 neck, but I don't think he uses these in most of his tabs.
In HWP-200 (Approach To C6th) he lists just the string 3 lower lever (K1), plus the standard pedals 4,5,6,7,8 (described as A..E).
In the follow-up (HWP-201) he adds 2 extra levers (labelled K2 and K3): K2 raises 4 a semitone while K3 lowers string 5 a tone and raises 10 a tone. |

| Mickd. you are right on it. I have all of Herby's Tab on C6 an the copedent is correct. I have never seen any of his tab without the copedent at the front of his tab unless you have a copy. I bought his red Mullen HWP 03 last year it has 7 levers 9 pedal's K1 K2 K3 on C6. |
