I am looking for a few E clips that hold a rod to the bellcrank on a LeGrande.

I think they are 7/64 size but I am not sure.

Where would I look for them retail around Austin ? Auto parts store ? Hardware store ? I don't think Home Depot has the right size.

Those little dinguses disappear real good....

If I call around before I head out should I just ask if they have 7/64 E clips in stock ?

Thanks !

They have them at Ace Hardware with all of the screws, washers, and all of the oddball fittings usually in the back of the store.

the rods on my '98 LL II are .109, or 7/64". I'm not sure, but I think if Michael's clips are for a 1/8" rod they will be too big. I got some the correct size in SS from Grainger, for a .109 rod, the groove diameter is smaller, .076

When you go to purchase E Clips from a local hardware or auto supply store take a Micrometer or Dial Caliper with you to check the thickness. I have found 3 or 4 different E Clips for sale, That to the eye look as if they will fit. But all I have found are .020 or .025 thick. The actual Emmons E-Clips measure .015 thick.

The slots I have checked on original Emmons rods is .018. wide.

They should be the right ones.
