The good stuff starts at 3:07. This is that weepy sound you get on "Together Again", and "A Couple More Years" and 1 million other steel songs.

You can move it to any open positioned chord (no pedals). If you start, say, on the 5th fret (Key of A), you use the same relative positions.

Try playing along with some slow songs with simple chord changes, and see what you get.
