To prevent fraud. I am a retired Deputy, I have seen all types of fraud. I guess everything is suspect to you. Thanks for asking. _________________ Clark Frady

For the record, this serial number was blanked out through the use of the editing tool the serial number is actually still printed on the guitar head just to prevent fraud thanks. _________________ Clark Frady

The seriel numbers have not been removed. Just hidden from view. Please, Warren, go play elsewhere, I don't care to see your negative comments on my thread. _________________ Clark Frady

Was this guitar acquired through Jeff Sessions' asset seizure program? Just wondering. Sorry - couldn't resist! |

Ugh...explaining a joke is so painful but ok. A person in law enforcement, selling a guitar with an obscured serial number, AND having "It is fun to 'steel'!!" for a tag. The joke kinda wrote itself...I'm sure you're one of the good ones - cheers! |

Oh ok. I get it. I didn't mean to confuse people by blocking out the serial number. I usually don't mind trusting everyone on the Web these days, NOT. I only intended to show that the guitar was made in America, not to entertain Yankees from PA and rednecks from GA. Glad that I was able to entertain you guys. _________________ Clark Frady

you see the people on the forum know that there have been some bad dudes on here that ripped people off so you realy cant blame us for being a little cautious. no offence intended. I have an idea ! just show the serial number and all of us complainers will just shut up and go on our merry way. |

I have seen thousands of Ad's with partial numbers blocked. It's been done here, Ebay, Reverb, Craigslist and on an on. Sure ain't no thing. I would say it's a common practice.
Most anyone with 1/2 a brain can figure that's what is goin' on.
Now, here comes a seller with what might be considered a " short fuse " and no sense of humour, which is his right, and the peanut section keeps right on firin'.
A stupid question was asked. The seller answered it and that's were it should have ended.
Maybe I am guilty also 'cause I didn't let it lay. |
