I recently bought a Mullen pre-rp that has been "Max-Tone" modded. Anybody have details about what this is? The guitar sounds great and I really like it.

Well, I'm not a pro steeler for sure, and, of course, didn't get to play the guitar before the mod was done. That sais, I am very pleased with the tone. I'm glad there are people out there working to improve the steel guitar.

as soon as I saw Billy Carrs name I stopped reading.... I had one guitar with his mode, and it took 3 different shops to fix it...
