Exactly my thoughts David....I love these guys...perfect combo of instruments and musicians ! Great stuff ! Brings tears to my eyes, seriously !
Maybe sometime when I am in Phoenix I could fly up there and check them out in person...the cost would be worth it to me ! _________________ Zum Encore, Remington D8 non pedal, Hallmark Mosrite clone, Gretsch 6120 DSW, Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90,1976 Ibanez L5, Eastman archtop, Taylor Dreadnaught, Telonics pedal, Squire Tele, Squire Strat, Fender Tonemaster, Gold Tone 5 string banjo, Little Wonder tenor banjo, 3 Roland cubes 30s and 80, Carvin combo bass amp |

Brilliant! The whole combo is ace, but the steel playing is over the top. Exactly where I wann go in the future. Did I get it right that there's no volume pedal and no pot turning, all the dynamic comes from the touch of the playing hand? Great! _________________ My YT channel: www.youtube.com/user/madsteffen |

I'm totally amazed to hear such fine musicianship from a bunch of guys who managed to escape from Alcatraz ! Wow !!! The steel has such a beautiful tonal quality seldom heard these days ! I am awestruck !!! I play most of the instruments (sans the drums), and can only admire the power of the ukulele; the solid rhythm of the Epiphone guitar; excellent upright bass and very tasty drums. What a group of fine "prisoners" If I'm ever "convicted" I hope the judge sentences me to life at (the new) Alcatraz just to hear such a fine group ! |
