Is there a tuner on the market that provides a digital showing of the cycles per second of string tones being voiced...like 440, 441, 228, etc.?

Peterson offers a wide assortment of tuners. They might have what you are looking for.

You could build one from this circuit board or use this Windows program. There are also several good musical frequency counter apps for iPhone and Android.

I tried to build one from scratch about 40 years ago. Lots of soldering. Failed miserably. Sad

The Peterson iStrobosoft HD (for iOS) shows both Hz and Cents offset.

I need to update my comment. Yesterday I updated to "iStrobosoft" from "iStrobosoft HD" (which was only 32bit and has been discontinued). Unfortunately, it appears they removed the Hz readout in "iStrobosoft" and now only show the Cents offset. Oh well....
