I have new Rains "Spirit" fretboards with the Dove colored markers that would be very nice if the guitar is 24 1/4"" scale.

Gary just emailed me and told me the fret boards from the new Rittenberry wont fit it.However he says the Emmons fret boards should work.So I guess I'll look for some of those.I'm not sure what the scale is Jerry. Not exactly sure how to measure it.Guess it would be the same as an Emmons though. |

Dave, the Rains is same as Emmons, 24 1/4" scale. You measure from the center of the changer finger to the center of the nut roller to find scale length.
The Rains "Spirit" is much more "generic" in appearance as the Emmons "Atoms" are very much identified with the Emmons guitar. I think the Dove markers are very nice and there are few guitars with that fretboard because most Rains guitars had the standard Raindrop markers. I stock Emmons as well as a few Rains "Spirit" boards.
