I've had so many requests over the years for the tab and a backing track for my recording of "Walk Away Renee" (from my CD, "Home, James"), that I've finally created one.

Be aware that my original recording of the song was as part of a medley (with Pachelbel's Canon and As Tears Go By) but this tab/track is only for the Walk Away Renee portion. Since it's a bit short, I've arranged the tab & track to repeat the second chorus twice before going into the ending.

Also, this is a newly-created backing track (using BIAB) rather than the original one from the "Home, James" album because I never got tracks for all the songs on the album (and unfortunately my engineer/collaborator passed away several years ago). Still, I think the BIAB track is pretty good and fun to play the tab along with.

You can hear the original recording on steel here: https://youtu.be/nNPDA4Bg4ow

Price is USD$10 and delivery is by email only. Please PM or email me through the Forum links below to make arrangements if you'd like to purchase a copy.

Thanks for your interest,

Jimbeaux

Just as a heads-up, Jim will be one of the players on the Steel Guitar Cruise in Feb 2018. I am so excited to see and hear Jim live because I've been listening to his stuff for years. In fact I have already put in a request for his rendition of "Knights In White Satin" by the Moody Blues. But I would be just as happy with "Walk Away Renee!" Whatever Jim plays, he will have me on the edge of my seat for sure !!!
