I'm interested in this guitar. It belonged to the father of a good friend's wife. He recently passed away. I want to make sure I give her a fair price for the guitar since it was her father's. Could those in the know on this Forum give me some idea what it might be worth?
I've included some pictures. It has 8 floor pedals and 3 knee levers and looks to be in reasonably good condition for its age.
Thank you for any help you can give me. And if there is someone else I should contact who can help me with this question, that would also be much appreciated!
Sorry the pedals aren't set up on it. But this should give you an idea of the guitar.

It's a Sho~Bud "The Professional"; built somewhere in the 1970-1973 area..not 1979. What is the serial number??
These generally go for 1500.00-2000.00 depending on the condition; as this one certainly looks like it needs some cleaning of the mechanics.

What Ricky said. It looks like it'd need a teardown and cleaning to be worth more than a couple grand, but it's a great guitar. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
