Hi all,

I just recently got a great Emmons Lashley LeGrade II steel and I'm loving it but I'm finding the lack of a pronounced half stop on the second string troublesome. I've done some adjusting to try and make it more pronounced but it's still not strong enough.

Does anyone still make a 1/2 stop kit for an Emmons? If not, would a Sho Bud 1/2 stop work? Any and all suggestions welcome.

Rick

Lynn Stafford, Billy Knowels, and Jerry Roller likely have them. I still have a couple somewhere in storage. Also, Mike Cass. Since I can no longer get Emmons parts via Emmons. These guys could likely give you a better price.

If you also drop the ninth string a semitone on the same lever as the second string full tone drop, the ninth string drop can be timed to act as a 'half feel' position to get an accurate semitone drop on the second string.
