Yep, had one for more than 10 years. Quite good, loud enough and sounded even better with my Telecaster. Unbeatable reliability and not too heavy. Never used the chorus effect, though – especially not for pedal steel. But both of my current amps, a Peavey NV 1000 and a reissue Deluxe Reverb sound better with steel.

My friend has one. We were in a band together and we'd rehearse at his place. He left the JC set up for me so I wouldn't have to haul my amp. Sometimes he'd bring it to gigs for me. Loved it. I'm surprised I don't see more psg players using them.

If I'm not mistaken the clean channel on the Roland Cube 80 XL is identical (or close) to that of the JC 120...I love the way my steel sounds through it.

I use a JC-40 and it is great for me. I've previously owned a few JC-120s, but I don't need anything that big and loud. The 40 is just fine for me.

Yes...and the Roland Cube 60 does a pretty good job of impersonating it too...
I have two of them and play in stereo.. Wink

I had one for a short time, a Blues Cube Artist. It was a good guitar amp but broke up much too soon for pedal steel, at least for my liking.

The Blues Cubes sound like nice amps, but perhaps not suited to the PSG as much as the Roland Jazz Chorus series.

I'm looking at getting a JC-22 as a smaller amp for gigs in small venues. I have a Nashville 400 at home but its heavy to pack around.
