This is a short scale Deluxe 8 from the 1950s. It is essentially a single-neck Stringmaster. Two single-coil pickups which can be blended via a hidden rotary control under the bridge cover. This guitar has been played but still has a great '50's Fender blonde finish and original components including the legs. I haven't opened it up (and don't want to unless really necessary), but it was sold to me as all original from retrofret in Brooklyn, and in my experience they are very honest. I did replace the rubber feet at the end of the legs, because the old ones had crumbled.
This is a great sounding and functioning steel. Currently tuned to C6 with a high G string.
Asking $1100, shipping included to anywhere in Hawaii or the contiguous 48. I would also consider trades to longtime forum members for pre-WWII Rickenbacher guitars in good original shape that work and sound good.
