Has anyone tried something like this to allow C6 to "flow?" A 4 note chord can be slid up and down the neck through all inversons, like on the E9.

| How would this work on an 8 string, 4 pedals and 4 knees? Using the same c6 tuning as you have there , being only 8 strings what strings or notes would you not use? |

I do have my back neck set up with that same thought in mind. Basically, pedals 4+5 form the first inversion three frets above the root, and pedals 6+7 form the second inversion seven frets above the root.
I am not set up to post a chart at the moment, but I can give details if anyone wants to know. |

String 2-8 are central to the concept. If you want to keep the D on top for melodic licks, drop 9 & 10. Otherwise eliminate 1 &10. |

| Moving from "no pedals" in either direction, the next inversion uses pedal(s) and the next position uses knee, so you can get a smooth transition. |
