Working on a chassis now. Hope I can fix it. If so I have a really bad cab with no grill, damaged lower panel and no speaker. It is really beat. Not much to work with.
I need a complete cab, a reverb cable. Got the reverb tank and bag
Worst case I can repair and then cover the old cab with new Tolex. I would still need a grill. |

Ken, I have a PX 300 that I believe is the same cab as a Session 1000. It was making some crackling noises the last time I tried to use it. I've thought about having it fixed, but right now its just sitting around and I would consider selling it if you are interested. The cab is in good shape. |

thanks for the responses. I have a mess of parts ordered from Mouser for the power amp section. If I can get it up and running the PX30 might be a good option. Let me know what to want for it.
Thanks again |

I have the Molex parts and tools for the older style cable. The N112 and N1000 use a four pin Panduit connector
Realized today th baffle is also missing. Still may just fix it up if I can't find a baffle and grill |

Got the amp running again. All four MOSFETs on the power board were blown, two mosfet drivers IC chips replaced and two 10 ohm/1/4 watt resistors replaced.
Found the Panduit, 4 pin connectors on eBay. Bought a bag of 88 cheap. Should be able to make a reverb cable assembly now
Got to build a baffle and grill assembly unless I can find a cabinet complete somewhere
Going to check with Peavey parts and see if the have a baffle and grill assembly today.
Still looking for a speaker as well |
