I have a 1983 Emmons Push Pull and due to the ferocious manner in which I attack the beast I broke one of the cross-shaft return springs, and most of the remaining ones are stretching and wearing out. Does anybody have a set of 8, or 10 cross-shaft return springs in good, or like new condition?
These are the same expansion springs that are used on the Legrande models, that connect to eye screws in the front apron, then to the cranks on the cross shafts, which the pedalrods hook under. These springs keep the pedalrods from falling out of the cross shaft cranks.
