Just a quick heads up - this coming Friday - September 15 at the University of Illinois Champaign campus - I'll be demonstrating Letritia Kandle's Grand Letar steel guitar - There will be a formal presentation and discussion about the historical significance of this instrument and it's inventor - Miss Letritia Kandle. The Grand Letar has 26 strings - four necks (first multi-neck steel known to exist) - a built in two speaker amplifier (first multi-speaker guitar amp known to exist) and a integrated multi colored light show. Miss Letritia had a chromatic E9th tuning in her head when she commissioned her father to build the Grand Letar in 1937! The program starts at 1:15PM and admission is FREE! Details here:

Hope to see you there!
