compensators,,,vs tunning aids,,,am i wrong when i say that a compensator is a pull rod connected to a stationary bell crank,,with an o ring on the end to stop the lowered strings from comming back sharp after they have been lowered,, and that a tunning aid is a rod connected to an extra bellcrank say on the a pedal,,that raises the string Es or ect. when the pedal is pushed and the cabinet,,changer or cross shaft,,causes drop,,,,??
