Weldon's setup

How players out there lower the 2nd string to C# and raise it back to D and D# with seperate knee levers?

I really like the sounds Weldon gets with 2nd string lowered to the D and playing it against the raised 5th & 6th strings.

I'm testing the water to see if I want to try it on my own guitar.

Is Weldon still tunnng the 2nd string open to the C#?
