I'm hearing more and more uke music on television lately.
Nothing fancy, just someone strumming a 3-chord progression during various advertisements.

My wife watches a lot of shows on Food Network and HGTV.
I hear lots of uke strumming there,too.

Check out these guys, fantastic musicianship with a huge dose of humor.

Seeing them live is just amazing (and that's a word I very rarely use). They play everything you could imagine (and a lot you couldn't imagine) on ukuleles of all sizes â€“ with the exception of George Formby's classic "When I'm cleaning windows"!
