Anyone have any parts for the old ZB Custom guitars. Knee levers, linkage parts etc. Please email me direct with what you have and what you want for it. Got a nice D10 that needs a few things. |

Hi there Bill,
Just as a matter of interest, I had to make up all my knee levers a good few years back for my D10 and glad that I did as I could fully get to grips with how it all works.
Luckily I had my SD10 to copy all the bits and pieces from - but they can easily be made up using aluminum 1/2'flat stock tapering down to about 3/16", 1/8" pull rods,3/8" cross shafts, plus 1/8" thick flat mild steel plate to make up the equaliser pulling plate.
For the inside of the knee levers - that go against your legs, I stuck some white plastic window blind material to each one. The original ones were cream, similar to older piano keys.
Hope you can get it sorted out as you'll just love the ol' sound of the Z.B.
All Z.B.est Bob Mainwaring.

Bill, A gentleman in Tallahassee by the name of Albert Johnson just did a fine job of setting up my Clark Custom D10 which is very much like a ZB. He custom made the parts it needed I'm sure he can make parts for you. If would like to have his phone number, email me at bandstandcowboy@yahoo.com and I would be happy to share it with you.
