I was in the bathroom this afternoon and I heard loud bass coming from somewhere (not the toilet bowl), but I couldn't tell from where.
At around 6, I noticed a bunch of cars parked about 500 yards from my motel.
When I got back to the room, I looked on the internet to see what all the commotion was about and I saw that BOB DYLAN was playing, across the road, tonight!.
I knew he was coming here, but I thought it was in July.
It was sold out, but from where I could stand outside the little fence, the stage was only about 50 yards away. The sound was very present and the music and vocals were nice.
I really enjoyed what Donnie Heron does for Bob, on steel.
Bob's set ended with "Autumn Leaves" and the encore was "Blowin' in the Wind" & "Ballad
Of A Thin Man". _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

Show was incredible. Looks like he is doing the same set list every night. At any rate was thrilled to hear Desolation Row, Ballad of a thin Man and Highway 61.
Really digging his crooning as well. Last note, Donnie Herron sounds unbelievable on that GFI. Highly recommend checking him out on this tour if he makes a stop in your town. |
