Hello, I'm new to the Forum and am interested in finding these parts: cables, covers, changer, and pedals for a Kalina Harlin Brothers Multi Kord pedal steel.
Thank you,
Gloria Baldwin

Someone brought your ad to my attention. I have a MultiKord posted for sale about Dec 12, 2016 under the for sale steel guitars section. There are several pics as well as a link to a YouTube I made so you can see it. Obviously it's not new, but works fine. Has nice string spacing (compared to a 10 or 12 string) and has 8 strings. Just waiting for someone who is interested who knows what these things can and cannot do.

Kristen

Hi Kristen, I'm interested but haven't found the Multi Kord in the Steel Guitar Section yet. Still looking. What are you asking for it?
Thank you for your reply,

Thank you for that information. If you are able to make covers that would be really great. Good luck with that! Let me know if you will be making them. Would they be aluminum?
I would like to see someone make the cables because its not easy splicing a bicycle cable to the broken cable or having to file down the END PART of a bicycle cable so its rounded to fit where it needs to go.
Would also like to be able to buy some of those original screwdriver/socket tools used to tighten the nuts and screws for pedal tuning.
The tool ( all in one) is a convenience.
What do you think?

Gloria, you are more fired up than I was when I got my first Pedal Steel. All these little whims will become very simplified whence you have your very own sitting before you. You'll see then, just how simple these things can be. Sorry if'n I jumped in unwanted. Good luck and have fun. Jay

Ha ha ha, Jay you made me laugh. But you are right. I think Someone needs to make these parts again, especially the covers. My friend makes his out of empty See's candy boxes. I have to say they look pretty good. Square instead of rounded. He puts hinges on them and covers them in a wood color contact paper. Better than nothing.
