My wife and I decided to watch Places in the Heart yesterday. Much to my surprise, about 3/4 of the way into the movie, I see what looked to me like a National New Yorker. It was laying on some guy's lap in the band at a dance under a canopy. The movie was supposed to have taken place in 1935 in Texas. Maybe it was Eddie River's Grandfather??? Anyone know when the first New Yorker was produced? _________________ Currently own, 6 Groner-tone lap steels, one 1953 Alamo Lap steel, Roland Cube, Fender Champion 40 |
