I played the Carolina Country Music festival this past weekend......not a lot of other steel players there. No surprise. But I did see Chris Young had one. Anybody know who his player is? Definitely played some tasteful stuff. Here is a pic I got of him from the side of the stage.

Looks sort of like John Widgren. What brand steel? John plays Zum, I believe.

That doesn't look like Terry Crisp to me!
Terry is a fantastic steeler.

Thanks to the lighting, a few pounds, and the poor quality picture. I would have over looked it as being Terry. But after looking close. It's T.C. fer sure. Also note the curled finger on the bar hand. A T.C. trade mark.

That is Terry Crisp, wearing a cap though. He's been with Chris probably 3 or 4 years now, maybe longer. You heard one of the best in the world as far as I'm concerned. He played and recorded for Ricky Skaggs and Reba McEntire plus many others.

That's his lap steel. A West Coast I believe. I've been a TC fan since the first time I heard him and that's been years !
