I guess we need to ban banjos, or at least have background checks and a waiting period for those wanting to buy one! |

As I said on my radio show one Tuesday morning in 1991 when this occurred, "Now when you go into a music store to buy a banjo, there's a 15-day waiting period. When banjos are outlawed, only outlaws will have banjos."
The following weekend, I heard someone at a local bluegrass festival repeating that word-for-word to someone else. |

A reporter on the scene asked him if he felt any remorse for his violent actions. “It’s terrible. Those were the two best banjos I ever owned. They’re almost collectors items and quite expensive.I just can’t believe it when I’ve got other banjos that I wouldn’t have missed nearly as much†|
