What type wire do I need to hook up reverb tank in Peavey amp? Does it need to be shielded?
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
I'm no schematic-head, but I would think it should be shielded.
If you google

Peavey reverb tank wiring

there's lots of pics. Couldn't upload it.
Hope this helps, Pat

I used a set of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DI89I04/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 in my Session 400. They fit well and cured my intermittent reverb issue.

I'd guess that video cables with RCA jacks would do just as well.

Jerry, Yes it has to be shielded. You only need a 4 foot long RCA, male to male cable...the regular gray hook-up cables are quite adequate. Cut it in half and use one end for the reverb input, and the other for the reverb output.

I'd suggest marking the cables to tell them apart.
