they are staggered levers, with two extra lefts for the C6 only. so 5 levers (including the vertical) operate the E9 and 4 operate C6.

This Carter looks in new condition. Someone should jump on this for a great D10 with that many knees. I own a ZUM and Carter and that is an opportunity for someone to have a great professional guitar without breaking the bank. Easy to work on too. And parts are still available.
