Any preference on good 12 inch speakers to put in this amp for steel.

How about the eminence patriot speakers.Does anyone use those.

Dunno about the Patriot, but I have a pair of Eminence Legend EM12-Gs in my Ultralinear Twin and they sound great.. I don't know why, but I had been under the impression that the Patriot was designed for early breakup. This leads me to think it would not be very steel friendly.

| I had a pair of Eminence Patriot "Screamin' Eagles" in my Twin Reverb. Pretty good speakers but nowhere near as good as JBLs or Altecs. |
