I also recently discovered this website and learned a few new ways to play things. Above the notation is the string number and pedal and below are any position changes.

On a side note: Standard notation is helpful if you want to know the note names and rhythmic values instead of just rote learning by tabs. If you spend a short time each day and start with simple chunks,much like learning the physical nuances of steel guitar is entirely possible to learn this skill as an adult.
