Aloha From Maui. I'm glad to be back on the forum. I teach music and Hawaiian Steel Guitar at the U of Hawaii, Maui. I'd like to share some of my lessons.
I was looking on the old forum and I saw that a person named Greg Prior had submitted a tab and discussion of Jules Ah See wonderful version of the Hula Blues. Does anyone here have it? I would love to get a copy. I have a few tabs I can share on my blog at www.joelkatzmaui.com. Thanks, Joel

Hula Blues, the Ah See version, is nicely tabbed out in the book The Art Of Hawaiian Steel Guitar Volume 2, by Stacy Phillips. Mel Bay Publications.

Thank you for Posting the tabs. And Thank you Craig wherever you are for you effort.I am very grateful to study this great version of Jules Ah See. It saves me a lot of time.

I have put together 3 semesters of steel classes, which are now accredited courses at the university of Hawaii. I'll post some of my tabs and lessons here.
In the meantime here is a link to download my last CD and artwork for Adventures in Hawaiian Steel Guitar. This was a Na Hoku Finalist (like Hawaii grammy awards) for Jazz album of the year. I hope you enjoy it. I'll disable this link in a week or so. Aloha, Joel

Yea unfortunately every day traffic for a 35 min. trip on Maui has turned it into a 3 hour excursion each way.
